Function And Purpose

The EASI USC is attached to the front of the car. It uses a SONAR system that enables to locate an object and its distance from the car. It also uses ultrasonic sensors to measure the distance with the use of ultrasonic waves. The sensor emits an ultrasonic waves, when it hits an object, it reflects back the wave to which the sensor receives it. Afterwards, it emits a sound alarming the driver of the near object and its calculated distance. The device also rotates at an 180 degree angle to survey the front of the car for any object that is near the car at a dangerous distance.

The EASI USC’s purpose is to avoid further accidents that can cause death and ripples of damages. Another, is also to help drivers who have difficulties driving at night due to the lack of vision. And lastly, it can bring back the focus of some distracted drivers on the road.
